Coach Budde is not only incredibly knowledgeable but very responsive and detailed in his communication with coaches and turn around with film. Our program was preparing for a playoff team that ran an overwhelming amount of sets. The breakdown I received back was the the detail you would expect from a Division I or professional film breakdown. As a head high school coach, I was 3 to 4 times more efficient in how I watched film preparing for that game. I can honestly say, I have never felt more prepared for a game, both in how I planned practice and what I was going to see from the opposition. The best feature is the ability to see over a 2-3 game period how often and how successfully an opponent is running a certain action. In the past, I might see an action that they run and think it was necessary to prepare for it. With the data provided, I could see if it really was necessary to prepare for it. It allowed us to have a deep dive into how teams were scoring....were they scoring off of sets, were they scoring off of their base offense and if so which actions (ball screen, dribble penetration, and drive and kick), were they scoring in transition, etc? This made it much easier to game plan, establish game goals for that particular opponent and helped narrow our focus in practice. The data was easy to dive into with the way it was presented and I liked how I could go from the data to the Hudl playlists with one click. The playlists on Hudl then made it easy for us to create a scout playlist for our players to view. It allowed us to spend less time clipping our opponent and more time focusing on improving our own team while not giving up any of our game preparation because the clips/playlists were done for us. The turnaround time was great, Jevin's flexibility in being able to turn certain games around quicker because of our schedule was much appreciated.
